How are the courses structured? Will I have a teacher? Are there specific times of the day to do the course?
All of OnTESOL’s courses are online and asynchronous, which allows students to view and study instructional materials each week at any time they choose as opposed to logging in at a specific time for a live lecture. There are no live lectures, however there are pre-recorded lectures by ESL teachers as well as other video material.
Every student is assigned a personal tutor who will receive and mark your assignments and answer any questions you have. They will also provide extensive feedback on each assignment. Personal tutors are available via e-mail only.
The 120-hour Advanced TESOL certificate requires a minimum of 4 weeks and a maximum of 6 months to complete. The 250-hour TESOL diploma requires a minimum of 8 weeks and a maximum of 8 months to complete.
